Enterprise technology employers and candidates: Expectations, reality, & your thoughts?

Employers‘ thirst for top talent is intense.

Candidates are trying to stay focused on delivering and implementing software, while also insuring they are employed with a company that is growing and competitive from a technology, customer satisfaction, and compensation perspective.

Xtra Effort suspects both employers and candidates have the same expectations of each other:

a) Honesty about their status (and changing status)

b) Willingness to think outside the box

c) Gather the required information to make a decision … and then MAKE a (timely) decision

d) Remain committed to your decision

e) Communicate early and often

BUT the above is not happening. In fact, mutual frustration over these expectations are what members of the Xtra Effort community most often express.
